We Live Online is a research project exploring the ways in which virtual artists construct and exercise their digital selves within networked contexts that demand constant navigation between online and IRL identities, and negotiation of anonymity and public visibility.

The project highlights the multiplicity of selves across discrete platforms and audiences by focusing on various online art practices, and translates the experience of performed digital identity into a projection-based installation by echoing web-specific modalities like multi-sitedness, simultaneity and synchronicity.

The installation was initially shown at Spaces of Perception hosted by Free University Berlin at A Space Under Construction, Berlin.
