This short film was produced during a two-week residency at Medienfrische in Pfafflar, Tirol, in June 2024.

It is the first outcome of a larger artistic research project about a remote mountain, the Spitzkopf, which towers over the hamlet of Bschlabs. Informed by ethnographic fieldwork, it explores how the mountain directly and indirectly influences life in the valley in regard to council borders, hunting, herding, forestry, firewood extraction and avalanche mitigation, as well as the individual lives of valley inhabitants.

The project is currently ongoing.
